Large tree with a wide columnar habit, maturing to oval. The 5 lobed leaf is dark green with grey-white underside, and very deeply lobed. The green-yellow flowers emerge before the leaves unfurl. It is tolerant to most soils, but more tolerant of wind than other cultivars.
