Silver Maple
Fast growing tree with pendant branches. Sharply lobed leaves are light green on top and silver underneath, and red leaf stalk. Leaves turn yellow in autumn, with some turning red. Flowers emerge before the leaves unfurl. Not often used as a street tree anymore due to its poor wind tolerance, but is ideal as a park tree.
