Small tree with a rounded habit. Leaves start . It is striking in Spring with its bright pink leaves unfurling, turning yellow-orange within a few weeks. Later it turns yellow green then light green. While the leaves unfurl the flowers emerge. This tree is found in parks and domestic properties, and tolerates all soil conditions including wet. It also tolerates drought and wind.
